Early Mornings and Solitude
Last week was all about training and solitude. Ever since I started getting up at half past five in the morning, I cut out most events like dinners, parties, and hangouts with friends. Honestly, I like that very much.
Marathon Training and Readiness
I finished last week’s training for the coming Hokkaido Marathon. I feel ready and relaxed. This Saturday is the big day, and when I reviewed my training for the past 15 weeks, I realized I had completed around 400 kilometers of running. That was pretty good, and I’m happy with it.
Morning Reading Habit
Since I started rising early, I moved my reading to the mornings as well. To my surprise, I’ve been able to finish my reading task every single day without fail. That consistency makes me feel productive and happier with my progress. I followed my plan and nailed all the schedules.
Matters of the Heart
Matters of the heart matter more now. I’ve decided to be with myself more, instead of trying to maintain complicated and unfulfilling friendships. To live a better life is everyone’s dream, but to truly live each day as it is requires conscious living. It’s too easy to fall into autopilot when we’re not fully present for our lives.

Conscious Living and New Beginnings
I have a vague but growing feeling that my life is getting better because I devote my time and energy only to the things and people I truly care about. I’ve only recently started to really live each day as a brand-new beginning. It’s never easy, but I know I need to stay conscious about that.
Patterns tend to repeat themselves, and in order to break old ones, we need focus and conscious living. I hope to share more tangible results soon—I believe they’re coming. For now, I remain hopeful and positive.
Thank you for reading, and have a good week ahead.
