This week has been all about dealing with problems — big and small. Every time I tried to sit down and update my weekly review, something new pulled me away. One of my clients ran into a serious issue — their project suddenly went sideways — and I spent most of my work hours identifying possible causes and trying to fix what went wrong.
When problems arise, it’s tempting to run away or ignore them. But deep down, we all know that dealing with problems is part of growth. You can’t escape every challenge; you can only face it with clarity and courage.
? Mentality: Accepting What You Can’t Control
When things go wrong, my first reaction is to blame myself. “If only I’d seen this coming.” But life doesn’t always give us warnings. We can’t forecast every potential disaster — and even if we could, that wouldn’t stop them from happening.
It reminds me of the butterfly effect — how one small action can ripple across the world in unpredictable ways. We can’t see the future; all we can do is focus on today’s tasks, do our best, and keep faith in our work.
It’s natural to feel upset when dealing with problems. The first step is acceptance — facing reality as it is. I often ask myself, “What’s the worst that could happen?” Once you accept the worst scenario, fear loses its power.
For this client issue, the worst-case scenario would be losing them — painful, yes, but maybe that’s life’s way of opening another path. If I’ve done everything I can, and things still don’t improve, then it’s beyond my control. Everyone has limits, and that’s okay.

?? Reality: The Client’s SEO Project
The main issue this week involved a client’s SEO project. Their domain rating dropped by about 10 points suddenly, which raised alarms.
We started dealing with the problem by investigating several possible causes:
- Google’s recent algorithm updates
- Potential issues with new plug-ins
- Backlink losses or low-quality links
- Performance across different ad or traffic channels
It’s been a complex puzzle with no single clear cause. I’ve been ruling out each factor and applying improvements, hoping the rankings will recover soon. Still, it’s been a reminder that dealing with problems requires patience and persistence — and sometimes, acceptance that not everything is in your hands.
? Lessons Learned
Every problem carries a lesson.
Here’s what I’ve learned this week while dealing with problems at work and in life:
- Stay close to operations. Strategy alone isn’t enough — execution matters.
- Monitor continuously. SEO and business metrics can shift fast. Constant oversight is key.
- Accept your limits. You can do your best and still face setbacks — that doesn’t make you a failure.
- Keep faith. When dealing with problems, a positive mindset and belief in your effort make all the difference.
This week was hectic and draining, but I still managed to keep up with my daily habits — reading, writing, and practicing music. Those small routines helped me stay grounded amid the chaos.
Now, as the weekend arrives, I just need to recharge and refocus — ready for whatever next week brings.
