After a month of trial and letting my body get used to rising early, I think I can finally start to trust it to lead me into a new routine. So I turned off my alarm—and this morning, I naturally woke up at 6:30 AM. Pretty impressive, huh? I think I went to sleep around 11 PM last night.

Now, some people might say, “You want to get up at 5:30 AM, but you’re waking up at half past six—that’s an hour late.” But honestly, that’s okay with me. My real goal is simply to extend my morning and ease into the day, and I’m pretty happy with where I am now.

This past Sunday, I slept almost the whole afternoon. I could feel my body was sleep-deprived from the week before. And honestly? I loved it. I felt pure joy just lying there, drifting between wakefulness and sleep.

There were moments when I wanted to get up for water, but my body was too lazy—and I just let it be. Especially during a nap in the daytime, that lazy, indulgent sleep feels like a gift. So instead of fighting myself, I chose to let my body lead and prioritize what it needed most in that moment.
