I’ve always wanted to be part of a book club. I’m not sure if everyone else feels the same, but for me, it’s always been a dream. And yet, I never thought about creating one of my own. We get so used to following other people’s ideas, joining what already exists, that the thought of building something ourselves can feel uncertain—almost impossible.
But what if we could? What if we created a book club exactly the way we wanted it—just for the love of reading, just for the stories that move us? Even if no one else showed up, it would still be ours. The idea of our own can never be taken from us.
Yesterday, I finally took that step. I stopped waiting for someone else’s vision, and started creating ours.
I hadn’t seriously thought about having a book club before—it was just an idea in my head, something I’d dreamed about but never acted on. And then yesterday… I don’t know why, I don’t know how it happened. It just did.
I met my friend Nina, as I often do, and it’s always inspiring to be around her. We were talking about books, and suddenly—within an hour—it all came together. It felt completely natural, like it was always meant to happen. Just like that, our book club was born. It was proof that even an idea we’ve only held in our heads can come alive—if we try to make the idea our own.
It Started With a Book
The story of Nina and me began in a coffee shop. She was reading a book, and I went over to chat.
It turned out that she and her husband had been curious about me for a while—the girl who always worked on her laptop at the coffee shop near our apartment. They had thought I was a writer, which, in truth, is my dream: to become one. We were neighbors, yet we had never spoken… until that day, when I saw her with a book in her hands.
Life has a way of surprising you. What had been just a passing thought suddenly became real. Yesterday, in a new coffee shop, everything fell into place in just one hour. Ideas flowed, excitement bubbled, and before we knew it, our book club had a name: Secret Fallina Bookclub.
After the name was agreed on, Fallina began to take shape in my mind within minutes—as a girl, but not just any girl. She became every reader: a universal book lover who loves freedom, who is genuine, joyful, inspiring, and full of smiles.
The name came from a playful mix of my name, Falls, and Nina’s. But Fallina is simply Fallina. She is not me, nor Nina—and yet, she is also both of us… and probably a little bit of you too.
I’m not sure if you understand what I mean, but the idea keeps growing in my mind. And I want to bring it into the physical world. We want to make it real.

Where Everything Falls into Place Naturally
Welcome to Secret Fallina Bookclub, where we meet secretly to read and share our passion for stories, and celebrate the courage to hold the idea of our own—creating something that belongs to us first.
28th January 2026 marked the birth of Fallina—and with it, billions of possibilities in this magical world. We don’t know what the future holds, but one thing is clear: books speak louder than we ever imagined.
By the way, Nina and I share the same favorite book: One Hundred Years of Solitude. I had never met a single soul who loved this book the way I did. But when we were trying to name our book club, Nina’s answer echoed mine—right there, in my head, in my ears. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t heard it myself.
We’re not sure yet how to make Fallina known and loved by the world. But we already love her. And that’s where every great story starts, right?
If you love reading—
if you’re passionate about unreal characters talking, walking out of books and into your life—
if you find peace in reading and resonate with others’ joy and sorrow—
then you are one of us.
And you’d better love One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Welcome to Fallina! We’ll try to meet every Tuesday or Friday for a secret reading event. We’re not sure about the meeting spot yet, but we’ll send out secret codes with the help of our Super Assistant.
We hope you find Fallina. And we hope Fallina finds you.
Let’s read—and build a life with the idea of our own! shhh ~
