Foundation: English, Curiosity & Communication
I majored in Business English in college, and English has been my strongest subject ever since I started learning it in middle school. One of the best teachers I ever had was my English teacher—encouraging, responsible, and deeply inspiring. Thanks to that early spark, I went on to earn TEM8, China’s highest English proficiency certificate, while still in college.
After graduation, I explored a range of roles: I taught English, worked as a librarian at an English reading club (where I fell in love with original English novels), and later moved into sales at Wallstreet English. Those experiences helped me realize that language is more than just a subject—it’s a tool to connect and build something greater.
Growth Through Marketing: Self-Taught & Hands-On
As I transitioned into the digital world, I took on roles in copywriting, e-commerce operations, and managing social medias and Google Ads. These positions gave me firsthand exposure to how brands grow online. I started reading marketing books, exploring SEO strategies, and running real campaigns for clients. In 2019, I founded my own digital marketing studio to help Chinese sellers with their digital marketing—a turning point where I truly saw the power of search.
I built my skills by doing. I believe if you have business instincts, curiosity, and discipline, you can teach yourself to excel. That belief led me to start building my personal brand and website.
The idea of creating something under my own name came from experience—both the rewarding and the difficult. At the very begining, I worked with clients who often didn’t understand digital marketing but still wanted control. I experienced times when there were no clients at all. That uncertainty, mixed with the urge to build something lasting, pushed me to create FS Digital Marketing.
Even when I wasn’t ready, I kept writing, kept learning. Nobody is ever 100% ready. But starting is what sets things in motion. This site is not just a portfolio; it’s a space where I grow, document, and connect.
